Accounts Payable Coordinator, Toronto

BDP Quadrangle is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Coordinator with 3 to 5 years of experience in an architectural or engineering office environment. Previous experience with Deltek Vision or other accounting project-based environment is preferred.

Overview of the role and responsibilities

  • Processing AP invoices in Elevia and Deltek Vision, checking the project, GL accounts and tax coding 
  • Processing expense reports and employee expense payment to the bank  
  • Weekly cheque run including processing payments in RBC (EFTs, wires, cheques) 
  • RBC Tax online payments 
  • EFT vendor set-up and approval 
  • Ad hoc Expense and budget report requests  
  • General ledger reclass and monthly recurring entries 
  • Providing information relating to annual audits 
  • Back-up for other Accounts Payable and timesheet tasks 

About you

  • Must have a diploma in accounting and/or other appropriate academic major; 
  • Must have 3 to 5 years experience working within a Finance/Accounting department; 
  • Professional Experience using MS Office and ERP software (especially Deltek Vision) highly desirable; 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; 
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable; 
  • The ability to work independently but also to contribute to a larger accounting team;  
  • Balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced studio environment; 
  • Attention to detail and deadlines is required. 
  • Adaptable to learning new system and workflows
