In collaboration with Nippon Koei, we developed a concept vision for regenerating Ho Chi Minh City’s riverfront and city centre.

Building on Nippon Koei’s work for major infrastructure projects, our design proposes new public spaces, commercial areas, retail, and a cultural quarter featuring civic, leisure, and arts functions.
The landscape of Bach Dang Harbour, shaped by the Saigon River’s history, is enhanced with a contemporary waterfront development that honours the city’s natural and cultural heritage. The masterplan envisions a vibrant river frontage that becomes the city’s thriving heart, offering a diverse range of high-quality public spaces and amenities.
The two Saigon River banks meet the water in different ways. By "framing" the river and connecting the two edges, we create adaptable and attractive spaces to transform the river experience.
A new promenade includes distinct zones, featuring a cultural hub, retail pavilions, riverside dining, a family play area, an urban beach, water features, viewing gardens, a riverside lawn, an urban forest, and jetties with water taxi terminals. This waterfront development will also play a key role in 'greening' the city.
